The year was 1960. Isadore (Issy) Sharp- a young architect and builder- joined forces with his father Max (a contractor) to build a hotel. It opened in 1961, and over the course of the decade, three more would come to pass. More than 50 years later, the Four Seasons has become a mark of excellence, sophistication, and luxury the world over.
